What will you learn?

Hakomi uses a set of tools that allow paying attention to our clients' bodies - tensions, impulses to movement, postures, gestures - and working with this material emerging here and now. During the workshop, we will explore:
  • What is Hakomi, and how it differs from the traditional psychotherapies
  • How to be with a client in a way that encourages deeper exploration of the hidden inner world – we call this loving presence
  • How to observe the client’s experience – we call this tracking
  • How to communicate presence and safety – we call this contacting
  • How to tune into the body and understand its message – we call this studying the experience in mindfulness
