Are you curious about Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy? This unique workshop offers a rare opportunity to explore the foundational principles of Hakomi while deepening your understanding of embodied intimacy and mindful sexuality.
Sexuality—a vital yet often complex part of the human experience—is frequently overlooked in therapeutic settings, despite research showing that many clients long for a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore their desires, concerns, and histories. In this workshop, we integrate mindfulness, experiential learning, and Hakomi’s core principles to help participants explore intimacy, desire, and connection in a sex-positive, embodied way.
Through Hakomi’s unique use of mindfulness and the body, participants will learn how we access the unconscious material that shapes beliefs, behaviours, and relational dynamics. This experiential process can gently transform core wounding, allowing new possibilities to emerge both in clients and within the practitioner’s own experience.
You’ll engage in practices that reveal how Hakomi’s core skills and principles—such as tracking, making contact, and cultivating the internal observer—can support a deeper felt sense of self and greater relational attunement. These approaches offer a powerful pathway for healing and personal growth and can significantly enrich both erotic and emotional intimacy.
