How Can I Love – Workshop I

Workshop

About

A H.E.A.R.T.® workshop in German with Halko Weiss, organized by the Hakomi Institute of Europe.

We often struggle, hope and act with desires and longings that are often present only on an unconscious level, both in therapeutic and our personal relationships. If this doesn’t work, our protective personality parts become stronger and success becomes increasingly unlikely.

This workshop aims to show how interactions between people shape and transform their relationships, and how deadlocked situations can be resolved with the help of mindful skills. These topics are broken down both experientially and neurobiologically within the framework of the Hakomi method. Participants will learn:

  • How automated personality states form the basis of all relationship events.
  • How character characteristics (aspects of the HAKOMI character theory) and early limiting experiences affect relationships.
  • How interaction dynamics in human relationships (including therapeutic ones) can be analyzed.
  • To explore mindful skills that can resolve these dynamics.
  • How compassion and self-compassion can be deepened in a practical way.
  • How love can be understood as a state of freedom.

The workshop is organized by the Hakomi Institute of Europe and will be held in German.
