What does it mean to investigate the experiences that shape us — from within? How can we support others in this process? And how does our own capacity for mindfulness as practitioners support this exploration?
We invite you to join us for this online introductory workshop and experience the Hakomi Method firsthand.
For the last 50 years, Hakomi has been at the forefront of mindfulness-based psychotherapy, using the body and present-moment awareness to explore clients’ inner landscapes. More recently, findings from attachment research, neuroscience, and systems theory have supported many of the principles and tools at the core of Hakomi: the radical application of mindfulness and a deep trust in the intelligence of each person’s body–mind system.
This workshop offers a taste of what it’s like when these principles are not just helpful additions but become the very foundation of therapy.
In this introduction, you will learn and experience basic techniques of the Hakomi Method and get a feel for its unique attitude toward the quality of the therapeutic relationship — from guiding clients into self-discovery to studying the power of body-based explorations.
Join us on this introductory journey into some of Hakomi’s unique tools that enable powerful transformation from within. We would love to see you there!
